Remote Technical Project/Product Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between customers, internal stakeholders, sales, and the engineering team.
Gather, document, and refine product requirements directly from customers and stakeholders.
Translate high-level needs into actionable user stories and workflows, ensuring clarity for developers.
Own the delivery pipeline—manage backlog, track sprint progress, and oversee timelines to ensure successful, fast-paced execution.
Collaborate closely with a small, agile development team to ship code changes that meet customer-specific requirements.
Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and regular status updates.
Maintain visibility into delivery milestones and communicate project status clearly to all stakeholders.
Support system-level thinking to quickly understand and work within legacy architectures.

Client Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 - 5 EST. You will be working 8h/day with a 4h overlap with client working hours.

Job Requirements
8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Product Management, or a hybrid role within software development teams.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience in agile environments.
Demonstrated ability to gather and refine technical requirements and translate them into deliverable tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident speaking with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Proven ability to work with engineering teams and understand software development processes, tools, and constraints.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to learn the technical details necessary to support the team and unblock work.
Nice to Have
Experience working with legacy systems and understanding technical debt tradeoffs.
Familiarity with modern software tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar.
Previous experience in customer-facing delivery environments.
Exposure to GraphQL, gRPC, PostgreSQL, or microservices-based architecture.
Experience scaling processes and workflows across multiple teams during growth phases.
